APPLICATION :

1. MICROTAC NP

  • Suitable for low absorption surfaces, contains a silica aggregate primer; not for use with mesh
  • NP is a two-component solvent-free epoxy primer
  • Epoxy (do not add water); use solvent (e.g. acetone) to clean tools
  • Apply small amounts depending on area and awkwardness
  • Apply in a criss cross/2 direction, ensure a nice coat without spreading it too thin as it is crucial for the medium
  • YIELD: 250g per m2

2. MICROPOX MEDIUM

  • Medium is a two-component coating, eliminating the need for sanding. Ensure a flat application, and sanding is optional.
  • Recommended application weight is 500 g per coat, providing a balanced finish.
  • Making sure you reduce any scratches by figure of eight or going back over and giving it a flatten down.
  • The grain size is 0.4 mm, contributing to a fine texture.
  • Choose your preferred trowel—flexible plastic or normal—as both are compatible.
  • For added flexibility, you can introduce a 3% water addition, reducing viscosity.
  • The pot life is influenced by humidity and temperature, typically lasting 30/45 minutes at a temperature of 20°C.
  • Optional. once you’ve applied your first coat of medium, you can apply another coat of medium in a Half moon pattern as the finishing coat, and then apply sealer.
  • YIELD: 700g per m2

Proper mixing of Medium is essential to ensure uniform consistency and performance.

IMPORTANT : If using on a wall application you need to add TIX which is a binder to mix into medium and fine products, failure to mix in TIX will result in sagging of the product.

3. MICROPOX FINO (FINE)

  • This two-component system
  • Before applying the fine, make sure you are happy and you don’t have any imperfections/straight lines if you do sand back
  • when applying the first coat just watch how the product is behaving and change the pressure and angle of the trowel to give you the best results.
  • Introducing a 3% water addition offers lower viscosity.
  • Keep the grain size at a maximum of 0.2 mm to achieve the desired texture.
  • Pot life varies with humidity and temperature, typically lasting 30/45 minutes at a temperature of 20°C.
  • With a yield of 500 g per m2, this application is well-suited for textured finishes.

Proper mixing of Fine is essential to ensure uniform consistency and performance.

IMPORTANT : If using on a wall application you need to add TIX which is a binder to mix into medium and fine products, failure to mix in TIX will result in sagging of the product.

4. PAVIPOL M100 SEALER

  • Pavipol M 100 is a single-component mono sealer, preferred for its all-resin composition, making it ideal for heavy traffic areas and showers.
  • Ensure to check if opened last month, and note its extended shelf life due to 50% more content than other sealers, resulting in a 100% solid resin sealer.
  • Make sure you apply just the right amount and spread out the best you can , if you over apply this can lead to runs or glossy patches.
  • Available in both Matt and Gloss finishes, combining the two creates a satin finish.
  • YIELD: 60g/70g per m2
