This product is ready to use and can be tinted using our colour machine.
Where can it be applied?
Dorotea can be applied on most surfaces, preferably Wall's and ceilings, but you can experiment on furniture etc.
Not for outdoor use and also this is not a waterproof product, Dorotea can be applied over a variety of Venetian plaster's, most common to use it with is your classic Marmorino's such as our Volare and Infinito.
Application:
Applying on universal primer: After the primer has dried (around 6-8 hours), apply first coat of Dorotea with a brush, we recommend the marmorino tools pennello brush.
wait 4-8 hours and apply the 2nd coat of dorotea.
Applying over Marmorino: Once your medium or coarse marmorino has completely dried you can than apply the dorotea with either a sponge or roller, apply either all over the area or in certain areas that you choose, this is where you can incorporate more than one colour of dorotea.
Another way is if you want the metallic to be behind the Marmorino you use the 1st application method with universal primer.
No need for a sealer with dorotea
