Introduction to Venetian Plaster

This course is by far our most popular course due to the range of products and finishes achieved in the 3 days. It represents a solid starting point for anyone looking to get a feel for these decorative plasters and start their career off in the industry, so if you’re unsure of what options are available for progress, know next to nothing about decorative plasters or just want to familarise yourself with loggia products (refresher course) this is the course for you.

Over the duration of three days here at our training studio in Southport you will get to experience first-hand a range of Venetian plaster products, both in the booths & on sample boards so you can take home some to show your prospective customers to help win you some work.

Following on from this course you’ll have all the foundational knowledge to practice your new found skills on walls, ceilings or more boards and be able to do so knowing which effects can be produced.

Should you wish to excel in a particular finish or style, we then have a more advanced ‘specialist’ variant available for you afterwards, which will delve deeper into the products specifically & giving you more supervised application time, giving you the valuable insights, guidance & teachings to help you become known as the go-to guy, or girl, for that particular range or design.

    • Alongside this you’ll be getting to grips with the metallic sand blast effect paint, Sharki, that gives a luxurious finish and comes in gold, silver or matte and metal metallic bases with array of colours to choose from, this is used to great effect when producing bespoke designs.
